The Daughter’s Pledge

As your fate or God’s order,

I am born to be the best.

Be it as your daughter,

Or your wife in your nest!!

You may wish to disown me in greed of a son,

Or you may choose to welcome me as your princess!

The later sounds better and should be done

Coz what matters is not the gender but the soul in embrace.

Your son may be a marvel,

And I adore that fact

But I am not less than an angel….

Please ensure that.

Be it your daughter,

Or the wife in your home

Do ensure equality

First in your hearts and also in your dome.

Do not fail to estimate my powers

And never misjudge the purpose of my birth

I can obviously rock the cradle

And very well rule this world…
